My name is Susan Wells, and I would like to welcome you to WatsonWells, where each piece of jewelry is as distinct as you are ...where my jewelry is unique, one of a kind and never to be replicated.

I've always enjoyed working with my hands;  pottery, knitting, embroidery, painting.  Although enjoyable, they weren't "it".
But it was jewelry making that finally captured my soul completely.
I've always liked things from the earth -- specifically , gemstones, pebbles, wood, shells...   I came to life in a bead store in New York City;  I felt it the moment I walked in the door.  I started beading, experimenting with colors, shapes and textures.  I'm proudly self-taught.  I bought the proper tools and acquired materials and after many trials and errors, my jewelry line was born..
Many of my unusual materials are charms, amulets, vintage and antique items I've picked up in my travels around the world.  I never know what I'm going to do with them until they're all laid out in front of me
These aren't just materials to me, they're companions on my journey.

Now, as I enter this chapter of my life where time feels both more precious and more uncertain, creating has become my anchor.  Some days my hands aren't as steady as they once were.  Some mornings the world feels heavier than it should.  But when I sit at my workbench, surrounded by decades of collected treasures, something magical happens.  The imperfect becomes perfect.  The broken becomes beautiful.  The scattered pieces of my story, both joyful and heartbreaking, find their way into harmony. Each piece I create carries this truth:  we are all beautifully imperfect, and that's where our strength lies.

When you wear one of my pieces, you're not just wearing jewelry, you're carrying a journey and my belief that beauty can emerge from anywhere, even from the most unexpected places.  You're wearing a reminder that every scratch tells a story, every irregularity holds character, and every moment of your own journey counts.

This work has become my love letter to the world.  Every necklace I string is infused with gratitude for all the places I've been and the dreams I still hold.  Every pair of earrings reflects my belief that we all deserve to feel beautiful, valued, and seen.  Every bracelet is a gentle reminder that we're all connected by the threads of human experience, joy, sorrow, wonder, resilience.

I put my heart into every order.  Inspecting each piece not only for quality, but for soul.  I want you to feel the love that went into creating it, the care that went into choosing each element, the hope that it brings a little light to your day.
